Hello all, going forward we are introducing a new Trade Offer process for Non-GM Team Trade Blocks.
There will only be (3) times each season where Non-GM Teams will be open for trading:
1. Offseason - At the conclusion of the playoffs (after the Cup has been awarded)
2. WJC/WHC - At the start of the WJC/WHC break
3. Trade Deadline - The week before the last sim before the trade deadline
During each of these times, Trade Blocks for Non-GM teams will be posted. Offers for Non-GM players on the trade blocks will be taken in 4 "Phases":
Phase 1 - Initial Offers
-Each Non-GM Team will have their Trade Blocks posted in a separate thread.
-All players (including prospects and draft picks) on the team will be on the Trade Block.
-All offers are to be posted in the Trade Block thread for that team. No offers will be entertained via PM/discord.
-Any GM (even those not making offers) is allowed to comment and give feedback on any offers posted on the Trade Block
-Trade offers that put the Non GM Team into non compliance (over cap, under floor, over Roster limit, etc) will not be accepted
-Every team that wants to offer for players on Non GM Trade Blocks will have 48 hours to post their offers.
-You are not allowed to offer the same player in multiple different offers at the same time
-At the end of the 48 hours, no revisions or edits to the Offers may be made by GMs, all Offers will "lock in".
-However you are allowed to retract your offer all together.
Phase 2 - Initial Evaluation Period
-At the end of the 48 hour period, all received offers will be evaluated by the Admins within 24 hours
-All trade offers will be given a "Pass" or "Fail" rating.
-"Pass" means the Non GM team could accept the offer (does not mean they will accept the offer).
-"Fail" means the Non-GM team will not accept the offer.
-If multiple teams offer on the same player(s), those offers also be ranked from Best to Worst.
-Trade offers will be evaluated based on "fairness", player values, and fits/needs of the Non-GM team
-There is no guarantee your offer will be accepted even if it is the only offer.
-Evaluations will also consider any public feedback/comments on the Trade Block offers
-No offers will be accepted by the Non GM team during this Period
-No revisions/edits to the trade offers or new trade offers are allowed during the Initial Evaluation Period
-However you are allowed to retract your offer all together, like in Phase 1
Phase 3 - Final Offers
-After the Trade Offer Evaluations have been released, all GMs (including those that did not offer in Phase 1) will have 48 hours to post their "Final Offer" in the Non GM Trade Blocks.
-You are NOT allowed to retract your offer. Once Phase 3 ends, your offer is FINAL and locks in.
-No revisions/edits or new offers will be allowed once the 48 hours is over.
-You are not allowed to offer the same player in multiple different offers at the same time
Phase 4 - Final Evaluation
-At the end of the 48 hour period, all received "Final Offers" will be evaluated within 24 hours by the Admins
-The Admins will decide which offers to accept on behalf of the Non GM teams
-Selected offers by the Non GM teams will be announced, and the Trades can be posted for league approval
-There is no guarantee your offer will be accepted even if it is the only offer.
-The selected Non GM trade offers posted for Trades will require 4 "likes" for approval or 3 "rejects" for rejection.
We are hoping this process improves transparency and simplicity when evaluating Non GM Trade offers, while ensuring the Non GM teams still get acceptable fair offers, and giving everyone in the league a fair shot at the Non GM players.
