The Halifax Highlanders are announcing a new Team Slogan that captures the team work ethic and culture, on and off the ice. Highlanders President of Hockey Operations, Roberto Luongo, with the announcement:
"This past season the Halifax Highlanders demonstrated grit, determination, and hard work on their way to a hard fought and eventual 7-game series loss to the eventual Cup winners, Brampton. During the playoffs however one characteristic stood out the most: Playing Hard.
Highlanders hockey is not about skill and flash, its about working harder than the other team. You know what's hard work? Going through a divorce. She's trying to get all my money now. She can have half of it, I don't give a shit, but the other half? Hard Work. Mine! Some guys on Brampton are fucking divorced, 3 guys there, who's fucking marriages are in the fucking toilet. We lost to divorced guys!
