Is KEL only retaining in 2028, not 2027? Through 2028 was my understanding. So duration @ 1M KEL, 1M TOK. Next season is 4M total retained |

Next season is 4M total retained my understanding of the rule is that double retention can only occur on the last year of the contract, so if KEL is retaining next year (2027), TOK can't retain, they can only both retain on the last year (2028).
"-Teams are allowed to carry 3 ACTIVE SALARY RETENTIONS at ONCE (max retention amount is 50% each contract. An already retained contract can be retained on again, up to 50%, but only in the final year of the contract) Can only make up 15% of the teams CAP "
TOK could just retain the 3M on Blackwood, that would solve this |

It’s close to that. We were just trying to limit double 50% retentions for multiple years This one doesn’t even have 1 50% retention, and the large retention is only 1 season. I think this fits within the spirit of the rule. But feel free to weigh in We’re gonna get some of these rules a little more dialed in and written more clearly when we reboot. Got a bunch of notes  |
