But that's all apart of the game. You can never take any player for what their current value is, you always have to think seasons ahead. Will they grow? Will they downgrade? Will I be able to resign? How will my other players be around them? Every move you make involves projections for the current and future seasons. It's why I'll never make a trade without thinking at least three seasons ahead. Yes, but it's only a small part of the game though, that's just it. You're trying to make it the entire game, which it isn't... And, in that process, you're making it difficult for the rest of the league to actually get fair value for their players. Kruze, I am one person just like you are. Nobody has to see anything how I view it, that's their own choice. The fact is the majority of the league agrees with that valuation and it took years for people to even discover the value of prospects and picks and that's when all these restrictions on upgrades started to happen. Imagine how much more valuable the prospects and picks would still be without any restriction? Where if my 79 played like a 90 the following season he would be a 90. These restrictions have been put in place because prospects were growing too quick and while it hurts the value of the prospects/picks it doesn't totally diminish them, they still have value even if it takes them 4 years to get to a 90 rather than the 1. |

And there it is. A YOU problem. YOU can’t seem to find what YOU deem to be proper value This has been up for a couple days now. Where is the flood of GMs having the same problem? Liking your posts and telling you “keep going Kruze!” ? I’m not seeing it. Getting a few messages on the other side though It's not just a ME problem when trades like that set a precedent for the entire league. Someone approached me with a similar deal to the one you upset about. I would be Joub basically in the scenario. Getting an older vet 88+ for a 1st + . I turned them down. Why? Because I don’t think my team is in a place to be doing that. I think it’s way too early to be giving up 1sts. You act like the entire site, all 27 GMs are the exact same. And now the flood gates open. It isn’t, they aren’t. The world moves on. Someone approaches you with what you deem to be bad value? Don’t do it. You think I can stop anyone from sending you bad offers?? Lmao If you have something they truly want, you guys will get it worked out. And it sounds like you’d love to snag a Voracek type player for a 1st + top prospect. So why don’t you spend some time mixing it up a bit and work some deals with peeps? Instead of responding to this thread about something that isn’t changing right now Maybe it’s hard for you make deals because you always draggin this stuff out instead of working on that team? I know I need to be working on the game now so we can get this show on the road  |
