SEASON 9 EXTENSION RULE CHANGE

To accommodate the quicker speed and to help get us right into Season 10, all UFA and RFA contracts expiring in 2031 will not be negotiated.

Instead, GM's have the option to either:

1) Auto extend the existing 2031 salary for season 10 (and all clauses)

OR

2) Let the player go to UFA

If you decide to go with Option 1), you must:

• Post the extension just like you would normally do and tag Player Representative
• Post the extension before the end of the season (before Round 1 of Playoffs)
• If the extension is not posted before Round 1 of Playoffs, the player will go to Free Agency

You can start posting extensions now.
