Ok, first off I apologize to anyone who I did not counter more or try to engage more. I'm swamped with work at the moment. I didn't think Sasha Barkov would have this much interest either! Second, I had some REALLY good offers. I realized noone was going to offer a 20 year old 85 rated guy, pretty much everyone hoards those guys at this point so was I going to get a truly fair offer for one of the best and highest rated guys? Probably not. At the same time, no sense keeping him if my team is tanking.
I initially thought I wanted roster guys that were established but I decided to just full on rebuild. No sense trying to make a run in the next year or two.
So end of the day I'm satisfied with the quality and quantity of young guys here. Honestly, the 4-5 of you had all really solid offers and on another day I probably would have taken them. I didn't want to string this along anymore so ya'll can have closure and look at other options (FORSBERG HEHE). Also on my phone at work so if something doesn't make sense, sorry.
I accept this one. Thanks for the offers and again, sorry for not being as responsive as I could have, it was not my intention to screw anyone over here.
