Hello Sim Addicts / GMs!
I have gotten a PS5 and NHL24 and have downloaded the PS5HL rosters from Slovan Stags GM . We are just about ready to start up again now!
Before we start, I want to thank Slovan Stags GM again for carrying the community and simming for as long as he did! We are only here today because of your dedication to this community! Now you can take a step back and just be a GM
Now I think I will be ready to start the season within the next 2 weeks, maybe this upcoming weekend at the earliest.
Unfortunately because of how NHL24 is programmed, we cannot continue where Miiko left off (Season 2, first week of December). The good news is that it was still early in the season, so we didn't lose that much progress. So the plan now will be to restart Season 2, meaning the OCT, NOV, DEC sims that Miiko posted for Season 2 will be wiped and we start fresh at the beginning of Season 2.
Note that we are not going to undo any trades/transactions that happened during those OCT, NOV, DEC sims either.
Regarding the WJC, I will leave the thread open until we get to DEC 1st in-game before the thread locks. You are free to edit your nominations until that time.
Now as for the simming, I will likely be following Miiko's original schedule of 7 in-game days of sims per day, although I may do double sims on weekends.
Before the actual official Season 2 begins, I may do a couple days of "Pre-Season Sims", just to test and make sure I get the hang of it, these will be unofficial games and are more of a test run so that I don't go into Season 2 cold. Just FYI for everyone, I have never simmed before, I have never even owned a gaming console before yesterday LOL. So please bear with me as I learn the process!
Finally, please check off your team here so that we know who is still here!
I am also putting in a TRADE FREEZE until at least 80% of GM's complete the Activity Check (20 out of 25 GM's here)
