GM Responsibilities & Expectations
As GM it is your job to keep your roster and cap info updated at all times. Please do your best to keep this up to date. Failure to do so will prevent you from making trades. And if it’s a chronic issue you will lose your team.
LINES
It is your responsibility to post your lines on the NHL Lines board.
Posting them here, and bumping your thread when you make any changes ensures your correct lineup plays. It is recommended that you also post your preferred injury replacements along with your lines.
ROSTER LIMITS
All teams need to follow the Roster Limits at all times
NHL Roster Limits - MAX players 23, MIN players 20
NON-NHL Roster - 15 (this is AHL Taxi + Euro/NCAA/CHL Assignments)
AHL Taxi Squad - MAX players 15, MIN players 6
Juniors / Europe - MAX players 5, N/A
Total Contracts - MAX players under contract 38, MIN players under contract 26
MAX Goalies Under Contract - 5
TRADING
All trades must be posted in the Pending Trades board, and accepted by both Teams. Trades require 4 likes by the trade mods to be approved by the league or 4 rejects to be VOID.
In the event of a vacated, NON GM trade, 7 likes or 3 rejects are required
All deals involving future considerations need to be completed by the end of the current season, or by the upcoming season if done at the Trade Deadline or Offseason
Trade Deadline deals must be posted and accepted by both teams by the specified deadline. League accepts can come in after
GM ACTIVITY
GMs are expected to sign in and check out what’s going on at least a couple times a week. Just a simple sign in, and make sure there isn’t anything you need to do. Check messages etc. Failure to do so could result in you losing your team.
You can always let me, or any other admin/mod know that you won’t be around. Busy with work, vacations, alien abductions etc. That way we know you still want to hold your team
It is expected that no one alters any contract info or age info unless otherwise directed.
