A couple of minor rule changes to announce for the upcoming season:
Waivers Rule Change:
The age limit for sending players with cap hits between 1M to 1.75M down to Minors, WJC, and Europe without needing waivers is being raised from 22 years old to 23 years old:
PLAYERS 23 YEARS OLD or YOUNGER w/1.75M or LESS - do NOT require WAIVERS to be sent down to MINORS, but 1/3 (33%) of their cap hit DOES count against the cap
However note that if you do send them to Minors/WJC/Europe, 1/3 of their cap hit will still count against your Cap.

Reason for Change: The age limit is being raised to match the age limit of WJC age limit
RFA Compensation Change:
Slight change to RFA compensation, if you are sign an RFA to an offersheet and the Owning team decide not to match, the compensation pick(s) DO NOT need to be your own pick(s), they just need to be the correct year. However if you have multiple picks in the same year, the Team losing the player gets to decide which picks they want.

Example:
If Dylan Cozens is an unsigned RFA 2027 with PRG, and NYK signs him to a 9M offersheet and PRG decides to not match, NYK will owe PRG a 1st 2028, 2nd 2028, 1st 2029, and 2nd 2029. As long as they are the correct years, the picks can be any team, they do not all have to be NYK picks.
